The Alabama High School Sports Awards is now accepting nominations for the Courage Award. The Courage Award is one of the premier awards to be presented at the show, which will be held on May 29 at the Montgomery Performing Arts Center.
The Courage Award recognizes a student-athlete, coach or someone close to a high school athletic program who exhibits extraordinary strength and courage in daily life, on and off the fields of athletic competition. Anyone from a high school in the state is eligible.
Anyone can submit a nomination for consideration of the award. To do so, email any of the following:

The Alabama High School Sports Awards, one of 22 regional shows across the United States, is a nine-month student-athlete recognition program that will culminate at a red-carpet show this spring. The show will recognize athletes, coaches, and teams from across the state of Alabama who play sanctioned AHSAA and AISA sports.
