BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh basketball is set to play its second of three nationally televised games on CBS Sports Network this weekend. The Mountain Hawks will travel to Worcester, Massachusetts for a date with the Holy Cross Crusaders on Saturday.

Holy Cross (5-15, 2-5 PL) holds a 44-30 advantage in the all-time series against Lehigh (5-13, 2-5 PL). The two teams met inside Stabler Arena earlier this month, resulting in a narrow 69-66 win for the Crusaders in overtime. The Mountain Hawks have found success against the Crusaders in recent years, going 6-4 over the past ten matchups between the two schools. Lehigh was victorious in its game on the road against Holy Cross last season, winning 74-68 in Worcester.

If Lehigh wins, they would tie the season series at one apiece and will win consecutive road games in Worcester. A win would also give Lehigh their sixth overall and third Patriot League win of the year.

Lehigh did not play on Wednesday night’s usual slate of Patriot League games, as the Mountain Hawks faced off against the Colgate Raiders on CBS Sports Network on Monday night. The Mountain Hawks went toe-to-toe with the defending league champions, narrowly falling by a score of 60-57 on the road. Tyler Whitney-Sidney and Dominic Parolin each recorded 12 points to lead Lehigh while Parolin added 10 rebounds to claim his first double-double of the season. Keith Higgins Jr. still leads the team in points per game at a mark of 15.1, although he hasn’t suited up for Lehigh since January 6 against Loyola Maryland.

The Crusaders currently sit below the Mountain Hawks at ninth place in the Patriot League standings despite both teams’ league record being 2-5. Holy Cross has picked up league wins over Lehigh and most recently Loyola Maryland on January 20. However, the Crusaders fell to American in their last time out by a score of 84-65. Senior Joe Octave leads the charge for the Crusaders on offense, averaging a team-best and Patriot League fourth best 15.2 points per game. Forward Caleb Kenney has been Holy Cross’ other double-digit contributor, averaging 11.0 points per game while ranking second in the Patriot League with 1.7 per game. The Crusaders are in their first season with former Bucknell coach Dave Paulsen at the helm of the program.

Saturday’s game will be aired on CBS Sports Network and can be listened to on Fox Sports Radio 94.7 FM and 1230 AM.
